product OVERVIEWMAXMESH is a light gauge galvanised steel wire mesh for closing off pest entry points across the building envelope. Supplied as a 6m x 0.9m roll, it cuts and bends to fit gaps, vents and awkward contours, and fixes quickly with DURA+ sealant/adhesive or standard mechanical fixings. It's a fast, low-cost option for planned and reactive pest prevention work on social housing stock.

How to Fit MAXMESH
- Measure the gap or opening, allowing enough spare mesh to overlap the edges by at least 20-25mm.
- Wearing suitable gloves, cut MAXMESH to size with wire snipping scissors or tin snips.
- Shape the mesh by hand to follow the contour of the surface, pipework or opening.
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of debris before fixing.
- Fix in place with a bead of DURA+ sealant/adhesive (or a similar suitable product) around the edges of the mesh, or fix mechanically with screws, clips or staples where the substrate allows.
- Check the finished fit for gaps around the edges and at any overlaps, and trim or re-fix as needed.
Cut ends can be sharp, so gloves are recommended when handling and fitting MAXMESH.
